Mapping Out Most Prominent Crypto Investors

Crypto private venture funding broke all-time highs in 2022 regarding the amount raised and the number of deals in the sector. Over $32 billion was allocated to the crypto projects through 2,313 deals by crypto venture capitalists, traditional VC firms, accelerators, investment banks, and other investors. However, the overall crypto market experienced a downturn accelerated by bankruptcies, liquidations, and fraud. In turn, venture capital activity has also slowed as investors looked to secure their financial health and take off risk. Regardless of the current market sentiment, a staggering number of investors are ready but may not be willing to deploy capital yet. The Block Research data shows that investment firms have raised $162.2 billion, with $99.3 billion (358 funds) being finalized in 2022.
