As the oldest U.S. bitcoin investment firm, Pantera Capital has established itself as a cryptocurrency and blockchain investment leader. Founded in 2003 by Dan Morehead, Pantera Capital was initially a traditional hedge fund focused on investing in global macro trends. In 2013, the firm shifted its focus to digital assets and blockchain technology.

With over $2.5 billion in assets under management, Pantera operates three crypto funds: a bitcoin fund, a liquid token fund, and an early-stage token fund. Since January 2020, the Liquid Token Fund has brought in a 1,150% return, the Early-Stage Token fund has returned 1,336%, and its bitcoin-focused fund performance is up 539%.
