Mapping Out Robot Ventures Portfolio

Robot Ventures is a crypto-focused early-stage venture capital firm introduced in 2019 by Robert Leshner, the founder of lending & borrowing protocol Compound, and the current CEO of Superstate. Joined by partner Tarun Chitra, the founder of Gauntlet, the fund targets founders who aim to reinvent finance.

Even though the fund has only raised $5 million in capital from firms like Bain Capital Ventures, Ripple, Galaxy, and Paradigm, it has made numerous investments since its inception. The crypto funding activity has decreased to levels not seen since Q4'20. Still, it appears that Robert Leshner and Tarun Chitra have high convictions in the industry despite the low-price environment and have ramped up their investment in the sector.
