Mapping out Tiger Global's crypto portfolio

Tiger Global Management is a New York-based hedge fund and venture capital investment firm that seeks to deploy its funds in the software, consumer, and financial technology sectors. Founded by Charles Coleman III, Tiger Global currently has $95 billion in assets under management.

Before 2020, aside from leading Coinbase’s $300 million Series E round in 2018, the firm had steered away from making investments in the blockchain/crypto sector. That changed dramatically near the end of the first quarter of 2021. Since March 2021, the firm has led or participated in no less than 39 funding rounds across the crypto-sphere.
