May Blockchain Funding Recap

In May, the digital assets sector received nearly $3.5 billion across 220 venture deals. However, funding, in dollar terms, declined by almost 15% and after a record high count of 246 deals in April, the number of deals last month fell roughly 11% to 220.

In dollar terms, May is the lowest funding month since October 2021, when there was nearly $3 billion in venture funding.
