How venture capital firms are playing the DeFi boom thus far in 2020

In my last column, I touched on the growing popularity of decentralized finance or DeFi and the upswell of interest around these protocols. In that piece, I mentioned how venture funding for these projects is on the rise as new protocols continue to be created and tokens are doled out to liquidity-providing users.

Today, I take a closer look at the range of venture funding in the DeFi space during the past six months, which types of projects are drawing interest and the identities of the investors themselves.
