2020 Macro Overview: Traditional & Digital Asset Market Behavior, Part I

Our world currently finds itself battling both the COVID-19 pandemic and a major ongoing global economic crisis that is a byproduct of human behavioral reactions. The COVID-19 virus itself is outside of our area of expertise, so we will not even attempt to speculate on the potential effectiveness of vaccines and/or the length at which the global economy will be diminished due to lockdowns and other government-mandated restrictions. 

Instead, we will focus on activity within financial systems – both traditional and digital – over the past year, as well as their corresponding economies. Furthermore, we will attempt to display the behavior of digital assets, particularly Bitcoin, in relation to the price movements of contemporary asset classes.
