A look at Coinbase's asset listings

The lifeblood of a cryptocurrency exchange is trading volumes and the most common way these exchanges attract trading volumes is through asset listings. The more tradable cryptocurrencies an exchange supports, the bigger audience of traders it can attract.

An example of this can be seen in Coinbase’s support of SHIB tokens in June, just in time to capture the rise of SHIB mania. Coinbase’s support of SHIB helped it recapture its number one spot on the Apple App Store rankings in the U.S.
