An updated analysis of blockchain-related references in scholarly journals

Each year, The Block Research examines the growth of blockchain-related references in scholarly journals. As new protocols and blockchain projects are introduced, we see continued growth in academic and scholarly research inspired by and dedicated to the ecosystem.

As with our previous pieces, we based our findings in this piece on Google Scholar, a search engine that indexes a range of scholarly literature from multiple sources, including academic publishers, universities, and scholarly websites.
