Whether centralized or decentralized, projects will likely choose headquarters based on team members’ whereabouts and/or regulatory and financial advantages of incorporating and operating businesses in the jurisdiction of contention.

The Block Research has analyzed data from 7,000+ funding deals raised by 5,064 projects since 2017. We segregated projects into eight categories based on their value proposition to the industry. We recorded the operational headquarters and native blockchain the project is deployed on.
