August Blockchain Funding Recap

Last month slightly more than $1.8 billion was allocated across 143 venture deals. Venture funding in dollar terms and deal amounts has fallen for five consistent months.

By dollar value, funding declined nearly 10% MoM. August was also the first time in 15 months that blockchain-related companies and projects raised less than $2 billion. In addition, the number of blockchain deals fell roughly 25%, from 191 deals in July to 143.
