February saw a slight surge in venture funding within the blockchain sector, with approximately $852 million invested across 177 funding deals.

The dollar figure mirrored January's investments with a slight 8% increase month-over-month. More notably, the number of deals surged for the second consecutive month, rising by roughly 13% from January's 156 deals to 177 in February. This spike in deal activity represents the most significant uptick in funding deals within the blockchain sector in the past eight months, dating back to May 2023.
