Total adjusted on-chain volume, a proxy for economic throughput, saw a decrease of 10.5% to $600 billion in January. Overall, Bitcoin's on-chain volume decreased by 4.4% to $430 billion, while Ethereum's on-chain volume decreased by 23% to $170 billion.
