July Blockchain Funding Recap

Last month slightly more than $2 billion was allocated across 192 funding deals. Funding, in dollar terms, for the sector has declined for four consecutive months now. From May to June, investment in the industry had its steepest month-over-month slide since March 21' into April 21', falling from nearly $3.5 billion to approximately $2.2 billion, or about 37%. 

Similar to how the prices of digital assets stabilized last month, venture funding in July was similar to June, or roughly $2.2 billion compared to approximately $2 billion (-9%).
