November Blockchain Funding Recap

Last month, more than $1.3 billion in venture capital was allocated across 135 blockchain-related funding deals. Funding in dollar terms was nearly identical to October's numbers, or roughly $1.29 billion in October compared to $1.32 billion in November. For additional context, October 2022 was the lowest month in funding for the blockchain sector in 19 months since February 2021, when it had approximately $762 million in venture funding. 

While investment in dollar amounts was comparable, there was roughly an 18% decline in funding deals. In addition, the 135 deals last month were the lowest number of deals in over a year (14 months).
