October blockchain funding recap

As the first month of Q4 come to a close, we will look back to October to analyze how the blockchain/crypto sector fared in private investments.

Last month, venture capitalists deployed nearly $3.4 billion into crypto-related startups and projects. Moreover, compared to September, investment in dollar terms was up nearly 6%. Year to date, October was the largest month in private funding, suggesting that interest in the sector is still growing.
