A transformation is underway in the blockchain/crypto vertical: institutional-focused firms are ramping up their infrastructure and product-lines to be more attractive to institutional investors. Many companies are vying to become crypto prime brokerage, an area of focus has been on trading services that meet the needs and demands of institutions. 

In order to make digital assets more accessible to institutional clients, firms within the sector have focused on building out OTC desks, liquidity providers/aggregators, settlement solutions, smart order routing, execution businesses, clearing solutions, trade messengers, and algorithmic trading platforms.
