A look into Ethereum grant activity

In the Ethereum ecosystem, startups and projects are funded through two primary methods: equity investments from investors and grants from non-profit organizations. We’ve previously analyzed funding from the investment side. For this piece, we will examine grant activity in the Ethereum ecosystem.

Note that while The Block has attempted to collect all publicly available regarding Ethereum grants, we may have missed some funding information that was not publicly promoted. Therefore, the grant funding results in this piece should be viewed as a lower bound. We’ve also decided not to include Gitcoin grants because its corporate blogs do not identify the exact amount funded by its grant sponsors.
