Building On-Chain Gaming on StarkNet

Despite the current market uncertainty, gas prices on Ethereum have been high since the DeFi summer of 2020 and NFT mania in 2021. This has rendered Ethereum as a base layer unusable for many retail participants. 

It is clear that if Ethereum continues to onboard more users, it will necessarily require scaling solutions to enable sustainable growth. There are currently several Layer-2 (L2) networks, such as Arbitrum and Optimism. Still, they are all in the early stages. One of the most widely discussed L2 solutions is StarkNet.
