By 2012, gambling games like SatoshiDice were providing a clear use case and laying down the foundation for blockchain-enabled gaming. The game SatoshiDice, founded by Erik Voorhees, was so popular that in 2013 he sold the company for 126,315 Bitcoin or $11.5 million at the time.
