Proof of Personhood Passport: A transportable identity card for the Web3 space

The "Proof of Personhood Passport (PoPP)" extends Gitcoin Grants' quadratic funding program for sustaining Web3 projects. It aims to become a "transportable proof of identity for the Web3 space," though currently, it is primarily used for securing Gitcoin Grants.

On Gitcoin, participants can verify their identities via anti-Sybil decentralized identity systems to have up to 150% of their donation amount count towards a match fund algorithm. The goal is to ensure Sybil resistance and protect their quadratic voting and funding mechanisms.
