Storytelling NFTs: Separating Fact from Fiction

Intellectual property (IP) is the lifeblood of every NFT project. It is the invisible engine that powers all business endeavors emanating from the original source. Although the truism that “the next Disney” is already to be found among the current batch of NFT projects has been shouted from the rooftops, many ventures have used this narrative as a façade to conceal their lack of creative prowess.

However, a new breed of ventures has wound its way through the crowd by means of an innovative way of interweaving storytelling with the natural evolution of their IPs. Because storytelling NFTs have recently emerged as the principal pacesetters in the NFT market, this research piece aims to illuminate this nascent industry vertical and analyzes some of its most prominent projects.
