W3BB: Storage and Wireless Networks

Last week, we started looking into major consumer areas of Web3 as part of an ongoing effort to bring coherency to the Web3 ecosystem via categorization.

The four areas we started covering are oracles, wallets, domains, and middleware. For oracles, we took a look at Chainlink and its major developments toward multichain interoperability. For wallets, we discussed developments including MetaMask Swaps and Brave’s new self-custodial wallet. For domains, we examined how Ethereum Name Service (ENS) works and the operations behind their massive airdrop. And for middleware, we focused on The Graph’s blockchain infrastructure and their ongoing migration to their decentralized mainnet.
