SharpLink's strategy includes not only acquiring ETH but also staking and restaking it to earn rewards and support the Ethereum ecosystem. The company's approach is part of a broader effort to hedge against currency depreciation and to participate actively in Ethereum's growth and decentralization. SharpLink finances these acquisitions through proceeds from share sales and a $425 million private placement led by Consensys. The strategy is overseen by Joseph Lubin, Ethereum co-founder and Consensys CEO, who also serves as the chairman of SharpLink.
