Sarah Kopit is editor-in-chief at The Block where she oversees all editorial content. A 14-year veteran of Bloomberg News and a former practicing attorney, Kopit ran Bloomberg’s breaking news operations in the Americas, where she specialized in discovering market-moving news and intelligence on social media and open source platforms. A graduate of the University of Michigan and Brooklyn Law School, Kopit is a member of the New York State bar and lives in Brooklyn, NY with her family.
Frank Chaparro covers the intersection of finance and cryptocurrency markets, the metaverse, and Web 3 as director of news. Since joining the publication in 2018 as its first reporter, he has played a key role in building The Block into a leader in financial journalism and research. Andrew Rummer is executive editor for The Block Pro, based in London. He oversees The Block's deals, policy and crypto ecosystems teams. He was previously managing editor at Bloomberg News and led special projects at Finimize. He has a degree in engineering from the University of Oxford.
Walden is the executive editor overseeing the markets, companies, NFT and gaming news teams and our flagship The Scoop podcast.
He is a veteran business and investing editor with more than 20 years running major titles and serving global media companies such as Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg, Investopedia and LinkedIn, where he was the company's first finance editor. He is a former board member of the Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing, and a judge for its Best in Business Book awards in 2021. Honors include being a two-time Neal Award finalist, editorial excellence; Deadline Club award, spot news; and SABEW Best in Business award.

Larry is the Executive Editor for Breaking News at The Block. He previously spent more than two decades at Bloomberg News where he worked as a reporter, editor and team leader covering the intersection of sports and business, breaking news, and equity markets before taking on daily newsletters.
Adam is The Block's managing editor for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He is based in central Europe and was a managing editor at the crypto exchange OKX. Madhu Unnikrishnan is The Block's U.S. West Coast managing editor, based in San Francisco. Prior, he spent almost 20 years covering aerospace, airlines, Capitol Hill and defense, first at Aviation Week & Space Technology magazine and later as editor-in-chief of Skift's Airline Weekly. Unnikrishnan also did stints in corporate communications for United Airlines and Virgin America. He holds a bachelor's degree from Tufts University and a master's degree from the London School of Economics.
Nathan Crooks is the East Coast managing editor at The Block, based in Miami. He was previously at Bloomberg News for 12 years, where he helmed coverage of South Florida after roles as a breaking news editor and bureau chief in Caracas, Venezuela. Nathan, a native of Clarion, Pennsylvania, holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Toronto, where he completed a specialist in political science, and a Master of Business Administration from American University in Washington, D.C.
Tim is a news editor who runs the crypto ecosystems team in London, focusing on DeFi, DAOs, staking, governance and blockchain layers. Prior to joining The Block, Tim was a news editor at Decrypt. He has earned a bachelor's degree in philosophy from the University of York and studied news journalism at Press Association Training.
