Bison Trails raises $5.25 million in seed round

Blockchain startup Bison Trails has received $5.25 million in funding, the company announced in a blog post. The seed round was led by Initialized Capital and Accomplice, and companies like Notation Capital, Homebrew, Galaxy Digital, Distributed Global and Charge Ventures also invested in the startup.

Bison Trails is an infrastructure as a service company. It provides “secure, highly-available, and geographically distributed nodes on a participatory blockchain network” as well as a full-stack offering. It supports staking, validating, voting, transacting, and securing blockchain protocols.

The startup believes the new infrastructure it is creating "will pave the way for an entire generation of new decentralized companies, services, and participants to access blockchain economies and networks." It wants to enable easier access to blockchain infrastructure to make decentralisation more accessible.

The company announced it is going to launch the platform for "a select group of alpha partners" soon.
