Vitalik Buterin: Ethereum can't succeed unless I take a step back

At Devcon IV, Ethereum's annual developer conference, Vitalik Buterin announced that he needs to take a step back from the project. To realize the Ethereum founder's vision for "Ethereum 2.0", a step back is "a necessary part of the growth of the community," he said. There cannot be a single component, in a truly decentralized system, whose failure could negatively impact the whole ecosystem. (Source: MIT Technology Review)
