Dean Tribble is the CEO of Agoric, a Cosmos-based Layer 1 blockchain for building cross-chain smart contracts in JavaScript. He co-designed the first smart contracting system, AMiX, and contributed to significant projects like Microsoft's Midori operating system and Schwab's brokerage information system. As CTO of Agorics, later acquired by Microsoft, he played a crucial role in developing WebMart for SunLabs. At VerifyValid and Deluxe, he led the development of eCheck systems that processed billions of dollars. Dean is renowned for his expertise in secure, scalable software systems.
