November was not a good month for cryptocurrency investors. Bitcoin’s (BTC) price fell by more than 18%, erasing roughly $30 billion of market capitalization. Similarly, Ether’s (ETH) price dropped by about 17%. Stellar (XLM) had the strongest performance among the top 10 cryptocurrencies, likely because its governing foundation has destroyed over half of the supply, but the price is still down 14% in November. XRP had the worst performance; down nearly 23%.

As is apparent from the chart below, prices were closely correlated in November. There were no days with extreme price movements; the largest declines occurred from Nov. 21-24 and the largest gains from Nov. 27-29.
