Not all digital assets are created equally. And inflation, which is the rate at which new supply is added to the circulation, varies quite a bit. 

The inflation rate of a specific digital asset depends on its monetary policy as well as the stage of the asset’s life cycle. Zcash, for example, has virtually the same monetary policy as Bitcoin but since it was launched almost 8 years later, its current inflation rate is much higher than Bitcoin’s.
