"We're not crazy... We didn't lose our minds."

That was the kind of rhetoric Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) CEO Jeff Sprecher was dealing out on yesterday's earnings call when talking through the idea of the global exchange exploring a marketplace for airline miles, loyalty points, and "swords and sickles" from video games.

"We know what our platform does and we know how to lever it. And we feel really good about our ability to continue to find new asset classes," he reassured.
