A look back at January by the numbers: crypto volumes jumped, signaling a sentiment change

January was a good month for cryptocurrency investors, according to the numbers.

Bitcoin’s price increased by more than 32%, adding roughly $40 billion of market capitalization. Ether’s price rose by about 42%. BSV had the strongest performance among the top 12 cryptocurrencies – more than tripling its price in January. Tezos and XRP had the worst relative performance, but their price still increased by more than 20%.
