Long the US dollar

Despite the Fed dropping interest rates to near zero and restarting its quantitative easing program, the US dollar is the strongest it's been since January 2017. If the US dollar were to appreciate another 1.2%, then it would be in its strongest position since December 2002.

The US Dollar Index, a widely-used benchmark for the international value of the USD, soared by nearly 9% since March 9. The index recorded the best week since October 2008.
