Rapid Insights: Scroll Airdrop

Scroll officially announced its airdrop on October 21, 2024, which was launched just a day later, on October 22, 2024. Interestingly, Binance had indicated that the SCR token would begin trading on the same day as the airdrop, two days earlier than the official announcement. 

15.0% of the total SCR supply was earmarked for the community, with 7.0% allocated for this airdrop. Another 10% has been allocated to the Scroll DAO Treasury, along with 25% being earmarked for future ecosystem and growth initiatives. This leaves approximately 50% to the Scroll Foundation, contributors and investors.
