Skeptic's lens: ICOs are dead, make way for IEOs

I moderated two panels in Hong Kong at TOKEN2049 — one about regulations and one about stablecoins. The main reason why I visited Hong Kong, though, was to get a better sense of the sentiment around crypto in Asia. And just as expected, it’s vastly different than in the West. 

Arjun already summarized his thoughts, which were spot on. One topic that dominated conversation was the so-called initial exchange offering that Binance popularized with Binance Launchpad. Just when using an ICO as a fundraising method seemed to have finally died, it’s come back even stronger, more resilient and with a new acronym, IEO.
