Dean Skurka

Dean Skurka is the President and CEO of WonderFi.

Skurka has played a key role in WonderFi’s growth, having initially taken the position of interim CEO in 2022 before being permanently appointed in July 2023. As the CEO, Dean is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the company and overseeing its operations. Before joining WonderFi, Skurka had a successful tenure at Bitbuy, a major Canadian cryptocurrency exchange, where he was instrumental in scaling the company’s operations. His expertise spans regulatory strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and financial management. Skurka holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), where he majored in finance and minored in accounting​.
