Dian Ross
PhD, Blockchain @ UBC
Dian Ross is a Professional Engineer (PEng) and has recently completed her PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of British Columbia as a member of the Blockchain@UBC research cluster. Her dissertation focused on developing smart hardware solutions to physical artwork provenance that links with their digital metadata representations on distributed ledgers. She is currently working on a prototype implementation of this research as Project Lead & Engineer at Research Casting International (RCI), with a particular emphasis on incorporating the traceability of 3D scan files of cultural artifacts and natural history specimens.
