<p>Cryptocurrency exchange Binance is experiencing platform hiccups amid high traffic volume.</p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">On Thursday morning, users <a href="https://twitter.com/nurlabi/status/1227871129190248453" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">took</a> to <a href="https://twitter.com/Dutch_XRP/status/1227871794079633409" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">social</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=binance%20issue&amp;src=typed_query&amp;f=live" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">media</a> to report problems with buying and selling on the exchange. In response, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao acknowledged delays in its order book display and said that it was working to resolve the issue.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“There is a slight delay in the order book display across some trading pairs. Team are working on it. Funds are #SAFU,” he </span><a href="https://twitter.com/cz_binance/status/1227894923120136192?s=20"><span style="font-weight: 400;">tweeted</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> at 4:58am ET.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Five hours later, Zhao followed up with another </span><a href="https://twitter.com/cz_binance/status/1227965284717416448?s=20"><span style="font-weight: 400;">tweet</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">, stating that "parts of the system are still struggling to keep up with the high traffic."</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;"> </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Given so many updates per day, not all parts of the system has been live tested under this load," Zhao wrote. "I guess the good news is: there is very high SUSTAINED demand."</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Working on it, all hands on deck,” he added.</span></p>
