Analyzing data from Companies House and OpenCorporates, Sky News, a British news organization, found that, as of November 2018, there were 817 newly registered crypto companies in the U.K. The same data also show that there were a total of 342 crypto companies that were dissolved or liquidated in 2018. This was a large increase from 2017, where 139 crypto companies were dissolved. Of the 342 companies that were dissolved, more than 200 were incorporated in 2017, during the peak crypto bull market.
