Even as crypto is gripped by a bear market, there appears to be some interest in buying digital currencies in China, a new CoinTelegraph report shows. A survey conducted by Chinese crypto news site 8btc found 40% of 4,200 folks surveyed are interested in buying crypto. Half of those surveyed had heard of the terms cryptocurrency, digital currency or bitcoin, the survey found. Still, 63% of respondents didn't view crypto as a necessary form of payment.
