Sapphire Tech launches new GPU miner line designed for grin

Hong Kong-based hardware manufacturer Sapphire has announced the launch of a new graphics card line suited for the emerging grin coin. According to the company’s press release, the RX 570 16GB HDMI Blockchain Graphics Card will start off “a new family of GPU Blockchain products” designed for mining.

“The launch of the RX 570 16GB HDMI Card presents an exciting opportunity not just for Sapphire but for early grin coin miners and the cryptocurrency market as a whole,” said Adrian Thompson, Global VP of Marketing at Sapphire. “We’re thrilled to be bringing this and future blockchain products to market.”

As for further specifications, Sapphire teased that the new card supported the Cuckatoo 31+ algorithm and claimed that lower network traffic could lead to “higher rewards for early miners.”
