MetaMask, a Web3 wallet, has incorporated Hashflow’s liquidity into its Swaps feature, enhancing the decentralized exchange aggregator service.
This integration with Hashflow’s liquidity means that decentralized exchange (DEX) traders can benefit from more favorable swap prices and less slippage.
Slippage, the discrepancy between the expected and actual price of a trade, will be reduced through Hashflow’s request-for-quote model, resulting in a more predictable trading experience.
In addition, MetaMask Swap users may see a reduction in Ethereum mainnet gas fees, along with full maximum extractable value (MEV) protection. This is made possible because Hashflow computes and cryptographically signs quotes off-chain. As of July 12, Hashflow’s total trading volume has surpassed $15 billion.
"Our price quotes are computed off-chain and cryptographically signed, which makes front-running and other MEV exploits impossible," Hashflow stated.
Hashflow’s integration with MetaMask Swap isn’t the first collaboration Hashflow has forged within the past 12 months. In December of 2022, Hashflow partnered with the crypto bridge service Wormhole to give crypto users more affordable cross-chain swaps, as The Block previously reported.
