AltLayer's Ace: Restaked Rollups

AltLayer recently announced that it would introduce restaked rollups, alongside its existing product: rollup-as-a-service (RaaS). The technical intricacies of AltLayer's RaaS feature were previously detailed in a prior research piece. 

Restaked rollups consist of three integrated aspects, termed Actively Validated Services (AVSes), that collectively decentralize sequencing, verify rollup’s states, and confer fast transaction finality. Ultimately, this should help rollups deployed on AltLayer to achieve greater decentralization and better security, not to mention leveraging Ethereum’s trust network with restaking. Each AVS will also support dual staking, where AVS operators are required to stake additional rollup-native tokens alongside the liquid-staked token (LST) such as stETH. This would bring greater utility for each rollup’s native token while simultaneously incentivizing operators to help secure the rollup.
